A licenced archaeologist, your Host, can take you on some yet unexplored lake to look for evidence of early native peoples. To date, he has documented over 300 sites in the Ignace area. Some of the artifacts he has found date back nearly 10,000 years!

(Indian Rock Paintings) Pictographs - stories in picture writing up to 2,000 years old - are found on granite cliffs along lake shores. The Ignace area is a hotbed of pictographs - and your Host discovered most of them. Over 30 years of research has enabled him to discover over 60 of the 100+ sites in the Ignace area. Who knows if you'll be with him when he finds a new site!
